Introducing our keynote speaker
We're thrilled to welcome Rev. Dr. Carl Tinnion as our guest speaker for the day. Originally from England, Carl spent 26 years serving with YWAM across Europe before settling in New Zealand, where he now serves in a local church in Te Puke while also being on staff with NZCMS.
Carl's journey has taken him through some unexpected places: he's worked as a chef feeding the homeless, as an artist, and as a Christian storyteller with a theatre company in England. These days, you'll also find him hosting a YouTube channel and podcast. He's married to Melanie, and together they have three adult children.
Carl is passionate about helping ordinary people discover extraordinary ways to get involved in God's mission for the world and we can't wait for him to share that passion with us.

Raising kids in 2026 can seem overwhelming regardless of the age and stage. From navigating friendship issues, to hitting milestones, to navigating technology; parenting is tricky. This workshop is for parents wanting to feel encouraged and equipped as they navigate the joys & challenges of raising healthy kids.
Mental health & faith
The intersection of mental health and faith is fascinating. Supporting others in their time of need, figuring out how to respond to mental health crises, and navigating how or when to pray for someone battling an unseen challenge is hard. This workshop is for all those needing encouragement & equipping to care for others well.
Intercessory Prayer
Prayer is to the spirit what breathing is to the body. But why then can it be so hard? How can we pray well for others? When we have the chance to pray for someone, what are the do’s and don’ts? This workshop is all about equipping people to pray (for themselves and others) well.
Art & Faith: Finding Joy
A practical hands-on workshop for those who love being creative (or wished they were). This workshop is all about encouraging and equipping us to tap into our creative side as we seek joy in our spiritual life.
Leading Sung Worship
A workshop for our musicians, Leading Sung Worship is all about equipping and encouraging you as you seek to use your musical giftings for the glory of God. This workshop will touch on theology, scripture, and practical advice. We highly recommend this workshop for our musicians.
Reading & Teaching the Bible
Want to know how to read the Bible well? Want to hone your skills and ability to explain scripture to others? Whether you’re a seasoned home group leader or a new comer to the Bible, this workshop will leave you encouraged and equipped to love scripture and share that love with others.
